Prayer Development Support

Faith Women Ministry was founded in 2009 to reach out and minister to women who have been facing many challenges in life. Our first mission is to restore faith and hope back to them by introducing them to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Many of these women are HIV positive, disabled, widows, abandoned, abused (raped) and left with no hope for the future. Many of these are young girls that have been raped, and are desperate because they are then rejected by their families. They feel helpless and hopeless.

Faith Women Ministry’s mission comes alongside and restores their faith and hope by giving them a sense of purpose. We instill in them that, “They can do all things through Christ who strengthens them.“ Philippians 4:13

Through this ministry, not only are they taught about how to have a relationship with Jesus but they study the Bible to show themselves approved. They are mighty prayer warriors, often praying and fasting. They are also taught skills such as sewing, basket making, bead making, farming, brick making and even building houses.

These women learn how to not only provide for themselves but also their families. After they are self -sufficient, they are released from the program and begin giving back to others that were once in their position. We have put 2 girls through medical assisting school and one has gone back to nursing school and is now a midwife with the ministry.

We have many grandmas that take in not only their orphaned grandchildren but they also make room in their homes for other orphans.

Our goal is to see all of these women growing in their walk with the Lord and raising their children in His ways and to provide a safe environment for them to live and thrive.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27
