Jacqueline Angella Namayanja is the Founder and Director of Faith Women Ministry and the Director of ISAC Kids (Initiative Save African Children). These are sister organizations that work hand in hand with one another.
Jackie faced a very difficult childhood, being abandoned at 3 yrs old and then rescued and raised by a grandmother. She never let any of that stop her. She accepted Christ into her heart as a child after having been healed miraculously and determined that she would serve God for the rest of her life.
Jackie was never able to go to school but she would learn math and English from friends of hers that did go to school. At the age of 21, Jackie decided she wanted to go to college and so with the help of Janna selling her beads in America, Jackie put herself through college getting her degree in Procurement and Logistics. She went back to her village and saw the tremendous need there and started Faith Women Ministry. Jackie saw the abuse the women suffered. Many women are stigmatized because of HIV , disabilities, and even being a widow was like a curse to a family and community.
Jackie’s main purpose is to give every woman she can reach the freedom of expression, the freedom to go to church, she helps them build a home and provides them with a chicken and goat, and teaches them ways to earn money and provide for their own family.
As the ministry has expanded, Jackie started taking in children and babies into her home. She never turns anyone away. The babies are often children whose mothers die in childbirth or from HIV. Jackie currently has 50 babies and 16 other children living in her home. 3 of them are her birth children but they all think she is their birth mother. She never makes any distinction.
Jackie is a powerful prayer warrior and has a team of grandmothers from 95 to 101 that are constantly interceding on behalf of this ministry.
Without the grace of God and the prayers of the saints we would never have been able to accomplish all that we have so far. We know that with God, all things are possible.
Janna is the administrator for Faith Women Ministry and ISAC Kids. She has known Jackie for 16 years and has made six trips to Uganda to work with Jackie and bring supplies and new project ideas. Also Janna has assisted in two adoptions for ISAC Kids.
Janna attends Calvary Baptist Church in Bishop CA where she is on the Missions Commission and Project Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child.
Janna has been a Christian since childhood but her walk with the Lord has truly grown in the last twenty years. Janna has been married to her husband Brian for 38 years and has 3 children, 1 Foster child and 11 grandchildren.
Janna has seen this Ministry grow from nothing to the great blessings of seeing lives changed daily.
Janna says that not only has her Faith grown through her involvement with this ministry but also that of her family and friends.
Carole was born into a Jewish home and received Jesus as her Messiah 44 years ago.
Carole has been a potter for the last 40 years and a Christian speaker for the last 28. Carole’s teachings are drawn from her own time in God’s Word, her experience of being clay in the gentle hands of the Father, the Master Potter, experiencing the molding on the wheel, the fire of the kiln and the joy of being His. Her unique style of storytelling mixed with her skill at the Potter’s wheel bring Scripture to life in a very visual way.
Carole has been working with Faith Women Ministries and ISAC Kids for the last 12 years selling their products, getting children sponsored and bringing awareness to these ministries.
Carole has been married to her husband Wayne for 42 years. Wayne was the pastor of Calvary Chapel in San Fernando Valley Ca for 11 years. They have 3 children and 1 grandchild and one more on the way.
Carole says that it has been one her her greatest joys in life to work with Jackie and Janna in FWM and ISAC Kids, to be able to rejoice together in tremendous victories and grieve together in heartbreaking losses. We have seen God move in miraculous ways and my faith in God has been strengthened in ways I could have never imagined.
I started working with FWM in 2009 when the organization was founded. I love working with the women and as the Project Coordinator, I make sure all the projects are being attended to very well. I make sure the quality is considered and every woman is participating.
I think the best part of any accountant is to keep clear records of all in and out transactions of the organization. I account for every dime that comes in and goes out. The benefits of working within this ministry is that we focus all our efforts on the women and kids I’m so blessed to be a part of Faith Women Ministry.
My name is Viola and I am happy to have a career in life through Faith Women Ministry. I am a trained nurse and midwife thanks to everyone who bought beads from Faith Women Ministry. That money helped me go back to school so that I could become a medical assistant and work for FWM. I have since gone back to school to become an RN and midwife so that I could take care of the health needs of these precious women.
Her passion for women began at a young age after struggling to afford her own education alongside her mother.
She worked hard to become an independent and educated woman with her passion in the country’s legal affairs desiring to be one who will help to transform the system so that women achieve equal rights before the law, economy, politically, in religion and above all social obligations. In doing so, she has used her experience to guide her in encouraging and motivating women to take vibrant roles in developing themselves in the country at large.
Dorothy became the legal advisor for FWM in 2013, after showing interest in what the founder was doing to lift women out of their desperate situations and give them hope.
With her Bachelor’s degree in law and 5 years experience by then, she felt she could be of much value to the organization, hence the desire to work together. She spends her days meeting with women, interacting to get to know their backgrounds, lays legal procedures on how to handle matters, and processes necessary legal do documents for the organization.
She is one person who is down to earth when it comes to offering a hand to reach out to a woman.
Dorothy says, “All I ever wanted is to see a happy, healthy woman fulfilling her life’s dreams. My wish is not to see a young female soul go through what I went through with my mum. “
I’m a member of Faith Women Ministry prayer warrior group. I became a member of Faith Women Ministry 10 years ago. I am so blessed by this young woman Jackie and so many people out there that I don’t know of yet. They have cared so much about me and my friends and my family. Through Faith Women Ministry I’m able to get my medication, food and clean water in my village and a blanket. God bless you all!
I joined Faith Women Ministry in 2009. Ever since then, my life changed; I lost my husband and later on lost all my daughters. I have 8 grandkids and I was homeless. But I thank God for those people I don’t know of, though I have met a few from America. Faith Women Ministry built me a house with my grandkids and one of them goes to school. Faith Women Ministry has supported me and I so appreciate it. God bless you all!
